After weeks of pre-release buzz following its debut at the Sundance Film Festival, the body horror filmTogetherdebuted alongside two new releases at the domestic box office last week. The movie, directed byMichael Shanks, features real-life coupleAlison BrieandDave Francoin the lead roles, marking their third professional collaboration on a series of increasingly odd genre films.Togetheris being distributed domestically by Neon, best-known for having picked up six Palme d’Or winners in a row, and for having released two of the biggest indie horrors of recent times.

The movie was given a midweek debut, gaining a head start in a crowded marketplace that also saw the release of DreamWorks’The Bad Guys 2and Paramount’sThe Naked Gunreboot.
