Collider’sSteve Weintraubrecently had the chance to chat withAndorSeason 2 starsDiego LunaandAlan Tudykat Star Wars Celebration, and Luna spoke about what he thinks sets Andor apart from other shows. Acting as a prequel toRogue One: A Star Wars Story, the 2016 film following the Rebellion’s plan to steal the Death Star plans,Andorwas always designed as a two-season story leading up to the events of the film. Luna says this is what helped the team craft such a well-executed story: the fact that they hada clear and defined finishing pointand weren’t just making seasons of TV with the hopes that another season would be greenlit. ShowrunnerTony Gilroyalso hinted at plans to screentheAndorSeason 2 finale in theaters, along withRogue One.
