We’re a little under two months away from getting a clear gander atZack Snyder’s immenseBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and the marketing train doesn’t look like it’s stopping anytime soon. That goes for here in America as well as internationally, as one might have gleaned when Empire, a British magazine, recently premiered a huge crop of new photos from the film and behind-the-scenes with Snyder. And now we have a new international trailer for the film, which continues to tease the climactic showdown between Batman, aka Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck), and Superman, aka Clark Kent (Henry Cavill), as well asGal Gadot’s Wonder Woman andJesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor. you may check out the new international trailer right below:
As you may see, there isn’t much in the way of new footage here, but there’s a stressing of the more interesting thematic material that Snyder is after. IfMan of Steelquestioned the blessings of being a god like Superman,Dawn of Justiceseems to be contemplating whether man can, should, or would even benefit from trying to be a god. As much as Batman may be a different kind of hero than Superman in terms of demeanor, his actions as a righteous vigilante make him, in essence, a man attempting to act as a superhuman in every way possible, without attaining immortality. A great deal of the dialogue we’ve heard from the film thus far deals with this conundrum, and exactly who has the right to the moral high-ground in such situations, and if nothing else, I’m excited to see what Snyder does with such heady material when the film is released on March 25th. I say that, but really, I’m just here forJeremy Ironsas Alfred.

Here’s the official synopsis forBatman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice:
Fearing the actions of a god-like super hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.
