NBC’s highly-rated procedural,Found, is almost in its final chapter for its sophomore season, but fans are so not ready for the chaos ahead. The crime drama, directed byNkechi Okoro Carroll, airs its Season 2 finale on Thursday, May 15, with the “Missing While Dying” episode, which, fortunately for fans,Shanola Hampton, who leads the series as Gabi Mosely, has shared a few details about via an interview with TV Insider.

As described by its logline, the twenty-second episode ofFoundSeason 2will see someone from Dhan’s (Karan Oberoi) past resurface, looking for their missing wife and triggering Dhan’s trauma. At the same time, M&A mobilizes to track down one of their own as Gabi (Hampton) barters with her life while Heather’s (Danielle Savre) actions lead to a bold declaration. This picks up right from where the penultimate episode ended with Lena (a.k.a. Heather) striking M&A where it hurts bykidnapping Margaret’s (Kelli Williams) son, Jamie (Parker Queenan).

‘Found’ Season 2 Will End on a “Super Crazy” Note

WithFoundending its second run in a week, Hampton has hinted ata mind-blowing conclusionthat viewers will never expect. She described it as a “super crazy, heart-pounding finale, and that’s exciting.” TheShamelessalum further elaborated, saying:

“As we are on this sort of crazy runaway train to the finale,everything feels unhinged, and Gabi handles everything, but it all is coming to a head, and it comes to a head in a way that I don’t think the fans will expect, because it also comes to an end that makes you think, well, where do we go from here now? That’s always the craziest place to be.”

Hampton also comparedtheFoundSeason 2 finaleto that of Season 1, noting that the latter doesn’t even come close to the former, as fans will be left dumbfounded next week by how her character handles the situation. In her words:

“Even after Season 1, right, Sir’s out of the basement, everyone was saying, OK, so where do we go from here? And then we have this crazy Season 2 and the way Gabi handles moving forward now will leave us being like, OK, wait, now. So where do we go from here?”
