90 Day: The Last ResortSeason 2 is officially here, and I think some of the cast members are already leaving lasting impressions.Florian SukajandStacey Silvaare one of the six couples to joinThe Last Resort,and they seem to have just as many issues as the rest of the90 Day Fiancéfranchiseduos, with one of their problems being infidelity. While the couples are still settling into the resort,I can’t help but wonder if Stacey’s suspicions are right.
The way Florian has interacted with the other stars is what initially tipped me off. The newestreality spin-offhas only just begun, with only one episode available. So the couples haven’t shared much of their stories and there’s still more information to learn about the newest stars. However, in the short time that Stacey and Florian appeared on-screen,I witnessed some major red flags that rang my alarm bells.
‘The Last Resort’s Florian Instantly Gravitated Toward Ari
Florian and Stacey come from the90 Day Fiancéspin-offDarcey & Stacey. For those not as familiar with their storyline, the couple’s marriage is on the rocks, and it’s been going on for the better part of the year. According to Stacey’s confessional, she got sick about six months before they arrived at the resort.She expected her husband to be by her side, but instead, he became more secretive, and recently she found makeup on his shirt. Given Florian’s sordid past, Stacey is concerned Florian might be cheating on her. Stacey hasn’t provided any concrete evidence yet, but based on his interactions with the other women, and withAri Weinbergmore specifically, I can understand her concern.

The first action that I was suspicious of was how he almost instantly gravitated toward Ari while the other guests were arriving. It wasn’t only the way he gravitated toward her, but he pulled her away from the other group to share their issues;something about the situation felt off.Florian didn’t seem genuinely interested. Instead, he kept cutting her off. But the vibes he was giving off seemed more like he wanted to be the comforting guy. One of my biggest issues is how willing he was to console and listen to others. Meanwhile, he was ignoring his wife. It also seemed like he could see from the outside how other couples were failing, but lacked the self-awareness to explore his own relationship and actions.
‘90 Day Fiancé’ Franchise Star Florian Consoled Ari
The connection between Ari and Florian didn’t end there either. After the Happy Hour, the couples separated and then returned for a group session. After the group session, Ari was upset thatBini Shibrewasn’t taking responsibility or owning up to cheating.This made Ari so upset that she began to cry andFlorian took the opportunity to console her.Let me clarify, Florian consoling other people is not the real issue here. One point of having all couples together is that they have support from people who understand their circumstances better.
However, it’s howThe Last Resortstarconsoled her and how touchy-feely the pair were. The production crew zeroed in on the two fingers touching and while it might seem like a small act, it makes me wonder what Florian’s intentions were. In a resort full of women,I’m not sure why Florian needed to step up and part of me thinks Stacey only interrupted them because she felt similar to me, too. In general, it’s off-putting to watch men on the franchise rescue and support other women, but so obviously fail to do the same within their relationships.
These ‘Happily Ever After?’ Marriage Problems Have an Easy Fix
One small change will reshape their entire marriage.
Overall, it’s still the beginning of the series, so I might be a little too hasty in making my judgments. However, something in my gut is telling me that Florian may not be as good of a guy as he portrays himself to be. Additionally, thepreviews for the rest ofThe Last ResortSeason 2hinted at more turmoil with Florian. Either way, though, it’ll be interesting to watch this couple as they expand and see if my predictions are correct.
