Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers for ‘The White Lotus’ Season 3.After watching her get completely burned byJennifer Coolidge’s Tanya McQuoid in Season 1 ofThe White Lotus, fans were cautiously optimistic when it was revealed thatNatasha Rothwellwould reprise her role as Belinda Lindsey in the third season. While hopeful that she’d have better luck this time around, audiences were also nervous about what dark fate could possibly befall the beloved character. But, when all was said and done, Belinda sailed off into the sunset (literally) with a boatload of money in her bank account and her son, Zion (Nicholas Duvernay), by her side. But, some viewers were split about how they felt about Belinda’s final scene, as it was paired with herchoosing to be by herselfrather than with her fellow massage therapist and love interest, Pornchai (Dom Hetrakul), with whom she had discussed opening a business with.
Recently speaking withThe Hollywood Reporter, Rothwell and Hetrakul’s co-star,Carrie Coon, made her stance on the matter known and marked herself down as team Belinda. Giving credit where credit is due,The Leftoversalum praised Hetrakul for his incredibly moving performance as his character stands on the shoreline alongside his co-workers waving to Belinda as she fades into the horizon.

“My husband and I talked about this. He felt really sad for Pornchai. And Dom [Hetrakul] really moved everybody when he was filming that scene.”
On this topic, the Coon andTracy Lettshouse is divided, as the former said that she completely understands why Belindamade this decision for herselfand stuck to her guns when faced with the difficult decision.

“Yet, and maybe this is showing my own history of not wanting to be pinned down, but I felt like Pornchai really jumped on Belinda’s dream so quickly. He was so ready to absorb her dream, and I felt that was a violation. I was affirmed by her choice to say, ‘I’m not ready to make this decision.'"
Belinda Reminded Carrie Coon of Herself
Reflecting back on her earlier years and the path that has led her down the road that would ultimately earn hera Critics’ Choice Award, two Emmy nominations, and one Tony nomination, Coon said that she saw a little bit of herself in Belinda, adding,
