If Lexi didn’t get The Ick from ex BrooklynBeckhamreleasing a critically reviewed photography book or her other exPresley Gerbergetting a literal face tattoo, Jesse feeding her that kind of line and calling it romantic likely isn’t gonna deter her.Jesse was overcompensatingbecause he was absolutely hitting on girls throughout the party, specifically Lexi’s own housemateCiara Miller. Lexi already called Jesse out for leaving flirtatious comments on the other girls’ Instagram photos, and Jesse reacted as if Lexi was asking him to live under Taliban Law by — get this — respecting her boundaries. Ciara has also made it clear that she has a friendly flirtation with Jesse and it would never happen between them, butJesse seems to think herboundaries are negotiableas well.He was grinding on her and insinuating to their housemates that he would totally hook up with her.

Later on, Jesse was blitzed but persevered and went out to a club with his male castmates. Imrul made a welcome change of pace by not bringing back one girl like he usually does, but actually two this time. Jesse announced to everyone in the kitchen that he was going to go check out the girls Imrul brought home. He left Imrul’s room 37 minutes later without his socks on. He made sure everyone knew the next day that ~~nothing happened~~ and one of the girls…sucked his toe.The question isn’t “What would Jesse Solomon do?” but rather “What wouldn’t he do?”
There Are So Many Unanswered Questions
There’s so much subtext and layers to this alleged foursome and even the preceding events and the aftermath merit meticulous dissection.Unless Jesse was roleplaying Quentin Tarantino auditioning girls for a movie, there’s absolutely no way it was just some light foot stuff involved.He was even caught on camera saying he was “getting hard.” Why was Jesse “checking out” the girls Imrul was hooking up with when he already saw the girls at the club? On top of that, why is Jesse always making sure other guys are having sex? He weirdly confronted Ciara last season, asking her if she was going to ever have sex with his best friend West Wilson. He was almost offended thatCarl Radkehadn’t had sex sincegoing through a traumatic public breakup. Truly, why does he care so much? How did the conversation organically evolve from friendly banter after Jesse interrupted them having sex to Jesse getting his toe sucked? Why did Jesse feel comfortable enough to walk in on Imrul either having sex or about to have sex even though they met each other two weeks ago?
This season of Summer House has been a fantastic watch, but let’s face it, it’s following the same formula.Kyle Cooke’shaving tantrums,Amanda Batula’slamenting her husband,Paige Desorbois spewing choice feminism by being sardonically anti-men while datingCraig Conover, a probable Trump supporter, and Ciara’s butthurt about another mid man child of Bravo disappointing her. This foursome is probably the best thing that could of happened to these people because it’s a bunch of attractive people having rich subtext and an undercurrent of tension after something taboo happened.You know, like the whole premise ofThe White Lotus, but hopefully no one gets murdered!While questions remain and tension lingers, the only given is that twenty years from now, Jesse will probably be giving the same monologueSam Rockwelljust gave a couple weeks, ago, minus the introspection.Summer Houseis available to stream in the US on Peacock.
