Every kid’s favoriteDisneysuperhero show just got the most pleasing news amid Season 6’s run in France. TitledMiraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir, the series was created byThomas Astrucand developed byJeremy Zagwith a focus on two Parisian teenagers, Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrien Agreste, who transform into thesuperheroesLadybug and Cat Noir, respectively, to protect the city from supervillains.
It debuted in France on June 16, 2025, and has since been internationally broadcast on Disney-owned channels orDisney+, with exceptions in some countries. In that vein,the network has acquired two more seasons, Seasons 6 and 7, ofMiraculous: Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noiras well as threeoriginal animated specialsfrom ZAG studio and Method Animation, a label owned by Mediawan Kids & Family. PerVariety,these new chapters will launch on Disney Channel worldwide in the falland will go on to stream on Disney+ globally, excluding Brazil, where they will air on Globo.
Disney Channel first acquired rights to this captivating show on July 23, 2025, broadcasting the first two seasons with Season 3 being aired from July 14, 2025, to December 5 with the episode “Christmaster.” Later on, Disney Branded Television procured the exclusive rights to stream the episodes, including its specials, onDisney+ worldwide, excluding Brazil and China. As for the sixth and seventhseasons ofMiraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir,each comprises 26 half-hour episodes which, alongside the original specials, are produced in collaboration with Disney Branded Television, Brazil’s Globo, Italy’s KidsMe, and France’s TF1.
