Before signing on to work on the next comedy involving Tess and Anna Coleman, the filmmaker was involved with the development ofThe High Noteand some episodes ofAnd Just Like That…. The screenplay forFreakier Fridaywas written byJordan Weiss, who recently worked onSweetheartsand theHarley Quinnanimated series. The upcoming sequel was originally meant to be released on Disney+.

The artist was recently seen as Avery Becker inOur Little Secret, a Netflix romantic comedy also featuringIan Harding. Lohan was also invited to make a brief appearance in the film adaptation of theMean Girlsmusical. Anna Coleman entertained the entire world when she was a teenager because she switched bodies with her mother. Twenty years later, Lindsay Lohan is ready to return to one of the most emblematic roles of her career.
