Another day, another superhero series developed byGreg Berlanti–but it’s a good thing, right? The super-producer of DC TV series (all but Fox’sGotham, at the moment) has his eyes set on another comic property,Black Lightning, and he’s partnering up withThe GameandBeing Mary Janecreators (and husband-wife team)Mara Brock AkilandSalim Akil. The series is currently being shopped to the networks, and if picked up, it would make Black Lightning the first black superhero to lead a series on traditional television–DC’sVixenis on the CW Seed app (though appearing in live-action as a supporting character), and Marvel’sLuke Cagewill of course start streaming on Netflix in late September....

For years,Black Mirrorfans have argued over whether the episodes of the show take place in the same universe. WarnerMedia Kids & Family has announced that they have greenlit a brand new series in the award-winningDegrassifranchise that will be debuting on HBO Max sometime in 2023 with these episodes becoming available on Cartoon Network at a later date.
