One of the highlights of our San DiegoComic-Concoverage has to be the early access to the young, up-and-comingPower Rangerscast, who are poised to break out in a big way once the film hits theaters next year. Fans of the franchise can get their first look at the title characters (or at least the actors playing them) and the camaraderie that’s clearly present among them. If this video interview with our ownPerri Nemiroffis any indication, the cast will certainly be bringing a lot of individual personality to each of their characters.
During the interview, the enthusiastic cast talked about their wildly different auditions, the tone of the movie, the modern take on the original series' look and action, and how their fighting style will reflect their different characters. They also emphasize the emotional journey that each of them will take, which is to be expected considering that a bunch of high school kids are suddenly given super powers and tasked with saving the world!
