Sinnersis set to enter its third weekend in theaters, but the vampire horror film from directorRyan Cooglerhas shown no signs of slowing down at the box office. At the time of writing,Sinnershas collected $135.6 million at the domestic box office and $39.8 million internationally for a worldwide total of$175 million. TheMichael B. Jordan-led film kicked off its second week strong, earning $5.5 million on Monday and $6.8 million on Tuesday. The $135 million thatSinnershas collected at the domestic box office is enough to push itpastThe Silence of the Lambs($130 million) to make it the 16th-highest-grossing horror movie ever. The film needs only $2 million more at the domestic box office to passFive Nights at Freddy’s.

Sinnerskicked off its box office run with a forceful $48 million debut, making it the first movie to dethroneA Minecraft Movie, the video game adaptation led byJason MomoaandJack Black. Ryan Coogler’s vampire horror film then dropped a miraculous 5% during its second weekend in theaters, adding another $45 million to its domestic total while also holding off new arrivals such asThe Accountant 2and theRevenge of the Sithre-release.Until Dawn, another video game adaptation, was also recently released this past weekend, but considering the wave of competition, it was lucky to even pull in the $8 million it did on opening weekend.Sinnerswill look to pass $200 million globally this weekend, and it will also likely push past $150 million domestically and $50 million at the international box office.

Is ‘Sinners’ on Streaming?

Ryan Coogler’sSinnershas yet to make its digital or streaming debut, and considering the film is still producing strong box office returns, it will likely be a while before it’s playing anywhere other than a movie theater.Sinnersdoes have some big competition to contend with at the box office this weekend inThunderbolts*, the second Marvel movie of the year, which is poised to take the top spot from Coogler’s horror thriller. OnceSinnersbegins its digital run, it will first go up for rent or purchase onPrime Videobefore beginning to stream onMaxwith otherWarner Bros.movies.
