Lionsgateis asking, “What would you do to go viral?” with its upcoming new horror flick,Do Not Enter. Hailing from prolific music video directorMarc Klasfeld, the film centers onfour social-media adventure seekersknown as the Creepers, whose answer to that question is that they would break into and explore New Jersey’s abandoned Paragon Hotel for a livestream. With a past tied directly to the mafia, rumors of a missing stash of $300 million, andclaims of paranormal activityat the location, it seems like prime material for the group’s biggest online stunt yet. As part ofCollider’s Exclusive Previewevent for upcoming movies, we can share the official trailer, which shows that there’s a heavy and terrifying price to pay for fame. Deadly rivals make their presence known, though the night takes an especially harrowing turn when supernatural creatures begin hunting them down.
In the footage, viewers are given some backstory about the Paragon, which is fabled to be where legendary gangsterMeyer Lanskystashed his ill-gotten millions. It’s also said thatanyone who seeks out the cash vanishes without a trace. None of that scares off the Creepers, though, who bring their recording equipment through every room of the sprawling hotel to see if they can find the money — and maybe some ghosts — and get famous along the way. They never take any of the stories of the once-luxurious building too seriously until the first creature emerges out of a closet, and they learn that there are secrets in the hotel that even the legends can’t do justice. The Paragon’s mysteries are hinted at in a haunting videotape that plays while the group gets ambushed by more pale monstrosities, uncoversevidence of occult rituals, and tries to remain sane throughout the ordeal.

If the trailer is any indication,Do Not Enterwill have a fair number of creative and creepy set pieces designed to test the influencers. Beyond the standard scares, the group is forced to crawl through maintenance tunnels while tidal waves of rats scurry over them, and, in one sequence, they cleverly use blinds to block out the moonlight and try to take out the creature stalking them with night vision. It shows that they’ll have to be resourceful to survive the night. Leading this group of intrepid social media adventurers will beAdeline Rudolph, who’s about to enter the ring asKitana inMortal Kombat II, alongsideLaurence O’Fuarain,Nicholas Hamilton,Jake Manley,Brennan Keel Cook,Catrina Shank, andFrancesca Reale.
