‘Justice League’: J.K. Simmons Cast as Commissioner Gordon

While we are getting to see Gotham inBatman v Superman, we will not see the city’s Commissioner James Gordon in the film. But don’t be too disappointed, because it appears we are going to see him inJustice League: Part One, and he will beplayed by Academy Award winnerJ.K. Simmons. Reportedly, Simmons has been cast as James Gordon inZack Snyder’sJustice League: Part One, which is set to begin filming in April. This will be the actor’s return to the superhero genre after his memorable performance as J. Jonah Jameson inSam Raimi’sSpider-Manfilms.

‘X-Men: Apocalypse’: Heroes and Villains Pose in New Posters

We mustn’t forget thatBryan Singer’sX-Men: Apocalypseis another superhero movie we have to look forward to this year, and to help us be reminded of that, we got a couple ofnew postersfrom the film. The two posters show heroes and villains taking a stance with the words “defend” and “destroy” respectively. Personally, I give Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac) and his Four Horsemen the edge between the two posters.

‘Spider-Man’: Disney Channel Star Zendaya Cast in Key Role

Now that we’ve talked about Spider-Man (Tom Holland) from hisCivil Wartrailer appearance, how about we switch to talking about his upcoming standalone movie which hascast Disney Channel starZendayain a key role. According to reports, the 19-year-old actress and singer has been cast as a character named Michele, which could be Michele Gonzales who in the comics becomes Peter Parker’s roommate and love interest.

‘Luke Cage’ Release Date Revealed

We have good news for you if you are one of the people who after watchingJessica Jonesare awaiting the arrival ofLuke Cageon Netflix, because Luke Cage (Mike Colter) in the flesh hasrevealed the release date for the upcoming series. During an interview at theDaredevilSeason 2 premiere, Colter revealed that Marvel’sLuke Cagewill be dropping on Netflix on September 30th.

Daredevil’: New Poster Released

Now that we mentionedDaredevilSeason 2, which is days away from being released, anew posterwas recently unveiled. The poster features Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and Elektra (Elodie Young) in full costume with Hell’s Kitchen as their background.
