‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’: Adam McKay May Write and Michael Douglas Eyeing a Return
We won’t be seeing the sequel forAnt-Manuntil 2018, but we already have conformation on key players that will return withPaul RuddandEvangeline Lilly. Now we could be adding writerAdam McKayandMichael Douglasto the list of those returning forAnt-Man and The Wasp. During an interview, McKay seemed enthusiastic about thepossibility of returning, “I was talking to [Paul] Rudd about it the other day. We’ll see what happens, but that would certainly be fun. I loved working with Marvel.”
Douglas alsoteased his return and confirmed a conversationabout it, “I just got a call recently – they want to negotiate for a sequel and I thought “That’s great!”.

DirectorPeyton Reedis also in talks to return andshared that if the deal closes he wants to“go in some weird, unique and different territory.”
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’ Trailer Attached to ‘Star Wars’

Well, thanks to co-writer/producerSimon Kinbergwe now know that we’ll beseeing the first trailer very soon and what movie it’ll be attached to. During a chat with Steve, Kinberg confirmed that the first trailer forX-Men: Apocalypsewill be attached toStar Wars: The Force Awakensand that it will be “somewhat of a teaser” but “longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.”
‘Doctor Strange’ Adds Amy Landecker and Scott Adkins
WhileScott Derrickson’sDoctor Strangeis currently filming in Nepal, the film continues to add pieces to its cast, the latest additions beingAmy LandeckerandScott Adkins. According to reports, Landecker hasjoined the stellar castof the film in an unrevealed role. ‘Aquaman’ Hires Screenwriter to Work on Script
James Wan’sAquamanis due in theaters in 2018, and the DC project is full steam ahead in the development process of the script. Three separate scripts have already been written for the film and now Warner Bros. has brought screenwriterDavid Leslie Johnsonon board. It was reported that Leslie Johnson washired to work on the project, but what remains unclear is whether he will be writing a separate script or working with the previous drafts.
‘Gambit’ Near a Deal with Doug Liman
After losingRupert Wyattto scheduling issues, it looks likeChanning Tatum’sGambitis getting closer and closerto finding his replacementin directorDoug Liman. According to reports, Fox is very close to landing a deal with Liman that will see him at the helm of the film that is set to hit theaters on October of next year.
