‘Captain America: Civil War’: First Trailer and Posters Revealed

It’s fair to say thatCaptain America: Civil Waris near or at the top of fans’ list in terms of the most anticipated superhero movies coming next year, and now after much speculation, theories, and buildup, we finally get the first official look atCivil Warwith thefirst trailerandpostersbeing revealed. Out of nowhere, Marvel decided to give us an early holiday gift by releasing the first trailer and posters forCaptain America: Civil War, giving us a feel of what the film will bring when it hits theaters next year. The trailer teases the much-awaited conflict between the Marvel heroes, but manages to keep the focus of the story onChris Evans’ Steve Rogers and his friendship withSebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes.

‘Doctor Strange’ Synopsis Revealed and Cast Confirmed

It was only a few weeks ago that we got our first unofficial looks at Marvel’sDoctor Strangevia set images that were revealed online, and Marvel has now made things a little more official by announcing the beginning of production for the film and revealing thecast and brief synopsis. In a press release, Marvel confirmedBenedict Cumberbatch,Chiwetel Ejiofor,Rachel McAdams,Michael Stuhlbarg,Mads Mikkelsen, andTilda Swintonas the main cast, and also revealed the following brief synopsis:

“Doctor Strange” follows the story of neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a horrific car accident, discovers the hidden world of magic and alternate dimensions.

“Doctor Strange” is the latest film in Phase 3 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Phase 3’s goal—over the course of four years and nine films—is to introduce audiences to new heroes and continue the adventures of fan favorites.

‘Batman v Superman’: New Footage Premiering During Monday’s ‘Gotham’

If you’re not a fan ofGothambut you are looking forward toBatman v Superman, you might want to tune in on Monday. And if you are already a fan of the show then you’re in for a special treat with the announcement that a newBatman v Supermanpreview will airduring Monday’s episode ofGotham. Fox recently revealed a promo featuring the cast of the show choosing sides in the superhero fight, and also revealing that exclusive new footage will air during the Monday episode, so unless you’re planning to wait for the new footage to be released online, your plans for Monday night are already made.

‘Fantastic Four 2’ Removed from Fox’s Release Schedule

At this point most of us know how disappointingJosh Trank’sFantastic Fourwas for critics and fans alike, and that’s all without considering the rumored issues that went on between the director and 20thCentury Fox. So putting it very gently, Fox is in a delicate spot with theirFantastic Fourfranchise, specifically with now trying to make aFantastic Four 2. That being the case, it should come as no surprise that the studio hasremoved the planned sequel from its upcoming release schedule, leaving the question of when we might get to see a sequel if at all.

‘Aquaman’: Charles Roven Gives Update on Script

WB’sAquamanisn’t due in theaters until 2018, so naturally this early on very little is known about the project other than thatJason Momoawill be playing Aquaman and thatJames Wanwill be directing the film, but thanks to producerCharles Rovenwe got a littleupdate on the film’s script. During a talk with Steve, Roven confirmed that they are in very early stages of developing a script, and that when Wan is done with current directing duties he will dive into the development ofAquaman.
