After a mysterious accident changes Cadence’s life forever, everybody—including her tight-knit circle—seems to have something to hide.
This psychological horror story received critical acclaim when it was released over a decade ago and was listed among the best Young Adult novels on Goodreads and various other sources. The Prime Video adaptation is hoping to capture the essence of the original story and craft a chilling series.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name,Marry My Husbandfollows Misa (Fuka Koshiba), who has always taken a back seat in her life, serving others, is mysteriously granted a second chance after her husband and best friend betray her. Traveling back in time by a decade, Misa sheds her overly accommodating persona to become the protagonist of her own story. The series marks a joint venture between Japan and Korea, bringing a fresh spin to a beloved tale.
Discussing the project, Koshiba said: “It was such a fresh experience working with a Korean director and team. The vibe on set was completely different from what I’m used to; I love that the script combines the best parts of the original story with a Japanese touch. While it’s fundamentally a revenge story, you can really feel Misa’s innate kindness and strength coming through.”
