Only one episode remains beforeLeverage: Redemption’s climactic Season 3 finale onPrime Video, and it’s about to get a bit spooky. Collider can share an exclusive sneak peek at Episode 9, titled “The Polygeist Job,” which sees the scheme team setting up their own elaborate horror movie scenario a laThe Cabin in the Woods. The “haunted” woodland abode is all part of their latest con to take down a corrupt tech guru who claims to be bettering the world through “effective altruism” when he’s really just lining his own pockets. However, their plan to induce paranoia and, ultimately, betrayal among his inner circle is a tad complicated and may underestimate just how tight-knit the crook and his team are.
The footage opens with Sophie (Gina Bellman) explaining the scheme to Parker (Beth Riesgraf) and Eliot (Christian Kane) while they equip the house for maximum spookiness. She hopes to seize on the recent departure of the tech mogul’s partner from his company by setting up a scenario that scares his inner circle away from their meeting place so they can convince him that they, too, are defecting. If all goes well, there should be a domino effect of betrayal that leads to the mogul getting slapped for money laundering amid his paranoia. The question Eliot brings up iswhat kind of horror movie is the right one to have the retreat running for the hills?Beyond the general aesthetic of creepy animal statues, nooses, possessed radios, and burnt notes with names on them, Breanna (Aleyse Shannon) crafted a scenario involving a satanic cult to scare the executives. Unfortunately, neither Eliot nor Parker read the binder and are forced to scramble to salvageone of their most creative consto date.

Through eight episodes, Season 3 has found the modern-day Robin Hoodsscamming the scum of the scum yet again, from greedy power-brokers to wealthy industrialists, small-town mayors acting as judge and jury, and much more. The team, featuring mastermind Sophie, hitter Eliot, thief Parker, tech expert Breanna, hacker Alex Hardison (Aldis Hodge), and fixer Harry Wilson (Noah Wyle), has had to navigate heists gone wrong, as well asappearances by old friendslike Jack Hurley (Drew Powell) amid the “cooling off” of their jobs. It’s been an action-packed season with guest stars includingJack Coleman, Alex Boniello, Cedric Yarbrough, Mary Hollis Inboden, Sam Witwer,Rachael Harris, andAuden Wyle, but there are still a few surprises left in the finale that will center on Parker and her latest job.
What Are the Chances of ‘Leverage: Redemption’ Season 4?
Season 3 isRedemption’sfirst time streaming directly on Prime Videoafter getting its start on Amazon’s free ad-supported platform Freevee. Reuniting the creative duo ofJohn RogersandChris Downey, alongside executive producerDean Devlin, the series has thus far been a successful reboot of the originalLeveragethat aired on TNT. Despite the positive reception, however, its fate beyond Season 3 remains uncertain. Whenasked by ScreenRant for an update, Devlin revealed, “We haven’t heard yet. Amazon likes to get a lot of data; they usually wait until after the last show is aired, and then they want about six more months of data afterwards.” While he hopes that news comes relatively soon, so there isn’t too much delay between seasons, he fears it’ll be a while before a decision is made on Season 4.
Riesgraf has also previously said they’ve all been kept in the dark, but offered a call to action forLeveragefans tosupport the show however they canif they want to see their favorite schemers return for another run:

“No, not yet. But let’s get it going, people. Let’s talk about this. Huh? We’ve got to get the Nana episode. I mean, spread the word.If you guys like the show, I just say spread the word. The more subscriptions that Amazon gets, the better the chances are, I think, because they’ll see that people show up for this show, and these characters, and that they really care. It’s so fun. We’re all grateful for how much we’ve gotten to do on the show, how far we’ve gotten to take it. So, obviously, full gratitude on that, but itwould be so fun to keep going.”
